Zoom (Online Learning)

Sunflowers are universally beloved and, depending on your situation, there are many ways to fill that market. We will discuss agritourism sunflower fields, dwarf plants in pots, single stem successions, branching varieties and the wide range of novelty choices.

Price: $10 (Payable by credit card via PayPal).

This mini-workshop will be taught by Betsy Busche, owner of Spongetta’s Garden in West Winfield, NY. She grows her flowers on multiple properties totaling just under an acre. She sells her bouquets through multiple outlets including a CSA, farmer’s market, retail stores, and directly from her home studio. She also offers arrangements and bulk flower buckets for events such as weddings and parties. Betsy is a Delaware County native, and credits the 4-H program for her lifelong love of plants, sewing, and cooking. Visit her website https://www.spongettasgarden.com/ to learn more about her and her beautiful blooms.
