WHAT PARTICIPANTS SAY:

“I used to snack on lots of junk food and my blood pressure was very high – I almost had a stroke! Now, I’m trying to eat healthier snacks and smaller portions. I learned how to read food labels in this class, so now I can check the sodium in what I’m eating.” – Jose, adult participant, SNAP-Ed

”We are eating a lot more vegetables, my kids look forward to cooking dinner with me and eating the food – even the vegetables they helped prepare! I trust them in the kitchen preparing food with me.” – Loving Your Family Group, Mom, SNAP-Ed

We are making better choices after school and everyone now likes to help in the kitchen.” – Mother of three, SNAP-Ed

”We look for healthier choices when at the grocery store and plan to try one new food per week.” – Parents from Cooking Together for Family Meals, SNAP-Ed
