Skip Navigation Links4-H Teen Council

Teen Council provides opportunities for teens to interact with other teens from all over Delaware County. Activities include cultural, educational, social and community service events. Teen Council is open to all 4-H members between the ages of 13 to 19. 4-H members can join as soon as they turn 13. An organizational meeting takes place in September. This meeting is where all the activities for the year are planned and the teens are responsible for making those decisions. Some of the activities they have planned in the past include roller skating and bowling in the same night; planting trees; Relay for Life; Walking dogs at the Humane Society; plays; the opera; a Halloween party; skiing; canoeing; laser tag; high ropes & rock climbing; to mention a few. Teens are also asked to help in the Youth Building at the Delaware County Fair. Also there are many state opportunities for 4-H teens.
